Chiara Is

The brand was created by Chiara, originally from Northern Italy, who fell in love with Sicily and its rich culture and traditions. Her inspiration comes from the island’s history, beauty and craftsmanship.

A key influence was Donna Stella, a Sicilian woman who passed on the tradition of the Sicilian shawl by giving Chiara her first shawl. This moment became the starting point for Chiara’s mission.

Today, the brand focuses on preserving and sharing the traditional Sicilian shawl, celebrating heritage, craftsmanship and the cultural identity of Sicily.
