House of Mua Mua

House of Mua Mua was founded by Italian designer Ludovica Virga in 2006 in Bali. The brand began with handmade crocheted dolls created to support Balinese communities affected by the tsunami and the collapse of the tourism industry.

The brand gained international attention in 2009 when Virga gifted a doll of Karl Lagerfeld, which later led to a collaboration and the production of dolls sold in his stores worldwide.

Known for its playful and ironic interpretation of the fashion world, House of Mua Mua creates dolls inspired by iconic fashion figures such as Coco Chanel, Anna Wintour and Lady Gaga. Each doll is handmade in Bali, supporting local artisans and contributing to charitable projects, including education for women in the region.
