Mélange de Luxe is an independent multi-brand designer boutique in the heart of Copenhagen, known for its distinctive selection of contemporary fashion and carefully curated international designers.

With a particular passion for Italian fashion, each collection is handpicked with a focus on individuality, quality, and pieces that stand apart. From established fashion houses to emerging designers, Mélange de Luxe offers a highly curated universe for those looking for something beyond the ordinary.

The story of Mélange de Luxe began in 2008 in Nørrebro, Copenhagen, originally as a small vintage concept. In 2012, the boutique evolved in a new direction, leaving vintage behind entirely to focus exclusively on new designer collections. Today, every piece at Mélange de Luxe is new and sourced directly from the brands and designers we represent.

In 2020, Mélange de Luxe moved to Copenhagen’s city center, bringing its creative identity into a more refined universe of modern luxury, expression, and individuality.

About the Founder — Chris Baran

Chris Baran is known for his bold eye and uncompromising approach to style. His passion for color, print, and personality defines the Mélange de Luxe aesthetic — a distinctive blend of elegance and edge.

As the buyer for the boutique, Chris handpicks collections directly from Milan, curating primarily Italian designers and discovering distinctive brands before they become widely available in Denmark.

His vision continues to shape Mélange de Luxe as a destination for contemporary designer fashion — for those who value individuality and dare to stand out.
