Defining Melange de Luxe

Founded in 2008 as a small vintage store in Nørrebro, Copenhagen, Melange de Luxe began as a creative space celebrated for its unique finds and expressive fashion. What started as a passion for vintage soon evolved into a curated universe of contemporary style, and by 2012 the shop transitioned into a full boutique carrying designer labels.

In 2020, Melange de Luxe moved to the heart of Copenhagen’s city center — bringing its original creative spirit with it, now refined with a stronger focus on modern luxury and individuality. The boutique remains an intimate space full of energy, expression, and exclusivity, where every piece is chosen with intention and every customer becomes part of the story.

Mélange de Luxe was awarded the 2024 Most Innovative International Fashion Company by the Scandinavian Business Awards.

Chris Baran is known for his bold eye and uncompromising approach to style. His passion for color, print, and personality defines the Melange de Luxe aesthetic — a distinctive blend of elegance and edge.

As the buyer for the boutique, Chris handpicks collections directly from Milan, curating primarily Italian designers and often introducing brands to Denmark long before they appear anywhere else. His vision continues to shape Melange de Luxe as a destination for those who dare to stand out.
